Project Manager – Margaret Armstrong

The Health Team run our Baby Club and Breastfeeding group and are also involved in our Young Mum’s group and in the day to day running of all our programmes. They carry out new registrations.

Our Health Visitor and Public Health Nurse are here throughout the week for any queries or concerns you may have.

Our Midwife offers antenatal/postnatal support. You don’t have to wait until your baby is born to enjoy our services

Our Speech and Language Therapist provides:

Support in our daily parent and child groups
Training courses for parents and staff
Home visits to offer speech and language guidance and support
Visits to parent and toddler groups and nurseries to offer speech and language advice.
If you have any concerns about your child’s speech and language or if you simply want some guidance around how best to encourage your child’s speech then please give us a call.

Our Family Support Team is responsible for planning and running groups.

We also carry out home visits and home support so just give us a call if there’s anything we can help you with.

If you’re not comfortable coming to groups a member of our Family Support Team can come to you at home to support you in areas such as behaviour management, feeding/weaning, toilet training, home management, budgeting or simply to provide a listening ear.

While you are enjoying the wide variety of groups on offer at Horizon Sure Start your little one can come along to our crèche. Crèche provides a safe and stimulating environment for your children and promotes your child’s development.

We understand that leaving your baby for the first time can be difficult. Call in and visit our crèche and meet the team that work there.

Our admin team are the first line of support when you call, you will receive a friendly voice at the end of the phone willing to help you find the right person to speak to. They also support the rest of the team and put together the lovely newsletter.
